Today I would like to discuss: Ryan’s Cappuccino Cream Liqueur.
Distillery notes:
Ryan’s Irish Cream liqueurs are necessarily made in Ireland but the brand itself is owned and managed by the US-based White Rock Distilleries, whose website we have listed here.
Ryan’s Cappuccino Irish Cream is described as “an exquisite blend of fresh cream, rich chocolate, coffee and natural vanilla added to the finest Imported Irish Whiskey.
Hubby’s notes:
I have to admit, I wasn’t interested. I like Bailey’s, and the imitations usually fall short in my opinion. Then too I don’t care for cappuccino as a rule. I didn’t feel I could give an unbiased opinion.
Sooooo, Hubby bit the bullet and did the deed for the Ryan’s Cappuccino Cream Liqueur! This is his opinion:
This is a Baily’s-type drink with two distinct flavors: heavy creamy chocolate and sharp Irish whiskey cutting through it. They whiskey and the cream clash and they are not harmonious. The cream is sweet going down, but the bite of the whiskey is harsh, not at all smooth. Ryan’s Cappuccino Cream is an unbalanced liqueur.
Recommendation: Unless it is free, pass.
Have you ever tried Ryan’s Cappuccino Cream Liqueur? Did you enjoy it?
As always, drink responsibly and please don’t drink and drive.

I’ll bet if it were blended with ice cream and drizzled with a little chocolate syrup, it would be divine… 🙂

Ann-Marie, I’ve never heard of mixing icecream with Irish cream liquor, but that sounds amazing! 😀

I have Ryans regular Irish Cream but not the cappuccino.. I find all Irish Cream type drinks to be on the harsh side, so I’ve always cut it with milk or half & half over ice.. Smooth it out to how you like it.
