DIY Wine Glass Witch Instructions
● Lay down a covering to protect your work surface
● Paint the inside of your wineglass green with your foam paintbrush. (You can allow this to dry if you like.)
● Now paint the bottom half of the outside of your wine glass green. Make sure you paint out all the overlapping marks.
● Allow to dry.
● With your wine glass upside down, paint the top stem of your wine glass black.
● Allow to dry.
● Use a smaller paint brush to paint on two eyes using white paint.
● Allow to dry.
● Paint a smaller black circle inside the white eye (these are down and to the right).
● Allow to dry.
● Using a small pointed brush paint a small white dot inside the black eye circle.
● Combine small dot of black paint together with a bit of green paint; use this to paint the witch’s nose.
● Allow to dry.
● Paint on several warts (your choice as to where) using black paint. A pointed tip brush works best for this.
● Using a small pointed brush paint on a mouth using black paint.
● Allow to dry.
● Cut two sets of 14 strings of yarn about 3″ in length.
● Tie the top of the orange sting into knots for the hair
● Hot glue the knots to the top of the witch’s head on either side of the stem.
● Now cut a small witch’s hat from your black felt.
● Hot glue the small witch’s hat to the top of the witch’s head.
● Top off with a tea light candle and set this cute little wine glass witch in the middle of your table, on your fireplace mantel or an end table for a great Halloween decoration! Make a group of three… one purple face, one orange face and one green in staggered height and set the trio among leave, burlap, spider, etc for a truly sweet Halloween centerpiece.
