● While bright pink candy melts were used, red or soft pink candy melts will also work.
● The sprinkles you use are up to you. Hearts, red & white, little cupids… just keep to a heart or Valentine’s day color scheme and theme.
Easy Heart Peeps Pops Recipe Ingredients:
● 9 Peeps Marshmallow Creme Hearts (1 package)
● 1 cup Bright Pink Candy Melts
● 1 TBSP Micro Heart Sprinkles
Easy Heart Peeps Pops Mise en Place:
● Measuring Cup
● Measuring Spoons
● 9 Lollipop Sticks
● Bowl
● Baking Sheet
● Parchment Paper
Easy Heart Peeps Pops Recipe Directions:
● Place a lollipop stick into the bottom of each heart and push almost all the way up to the top of the heart; set aside.
● Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
● In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt one cup of bright pink candy melts on 50% power for 3-4 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted and smooth.
● Dip one side of a marshmallow peep (on the stick) into the melted pink chocolate. Place onto the prepared cookie sheet.
● Immediately top the chocolate-coated heart with heart sprinkles.
● Allow the candy-coated heart peep pop to harden at room temperature for 15 minutes.
● Makes 9 Easy Heart Peeps Pops.
