Slow Cooker Orange Soda Pop Chicken Recipe
Notes:
● This is only a portion for two people, so use a small slow cooker. If you want to make more – say for your entire family – double or triple the recipe (depending on how many servings you would like) and use a larger slow cooker.
● You can use any brand of orange-flavored soda pop you like.
● The chicken breasts should be either fresh or defrosted.
● For easier clean-up (in light of using marmalade), line your slow cooker pot with parchment paper or spray with a non-stick spray.
Slow Cooker Orange Soda Pop Chicken Ingredients:
● 1 lb boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts
● Salt, to taste
● Pepper, to taste
● 1 cup Orange Soda Pop
● 1 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar
● 1 cup Orange Marmalade
Slow Cooker Orange Soda Pop Chicken Mise en Place:
● Slow Cooker
● Knife or Fork (to shred chicken)
● Measuring Cup
● Measuring Spoons
Slow Cooker Orange Soda Pop Chicken Directions:
● Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
● Place the seasoned chicken breasts into the slow cooker.
● Pour the orange soda pop and vinegar over the chicken.
● Spread the orange marmalade on top of the chicken breasts.
● Cook on low setting for 6 hours or high setting for 4 hours.
● When cooking time is almost done, remove chicken and shred with two forks. Return the chicken to the pot and let simmer another 15 minutes.
● Serve hot over rice.

● 1 cup Orange Marmalade
Directions:
