Caramel Apple Pudding Shots Recipe
Creamy apple-caramel goodness in a pudding shot! These easy to make, smooth and delicious Caramel Apple Pudding Shots are fall favorites, great for parties, tailgating, and more.
Mmmmm pudding shots! If you are looking for something that is a boozy cross between a dessert and a jello shot, pudding shots are for you! Easy to make, pudding shots are a great “adult” pudding recipe. You can quickly learn how to make jello shots by following the tutorial instructions below!
Notes:
● If you cannot find Caramel instant pudding at your grocery store, substitute vanilla favored instant pudding.
● Chill your green apple vodka if possible.
● Other choices in place of green apple vokda would be Crown Royal Apple, Applejack, Apple Vodka, etc. Experiment by using what apple liqueur you enjoy most!
● I listed Cool Whip which is a brand name. You can use another brand of imitation whipped topping if you like.
Caramel Apple Pudding Shots Ingredients:
● 14 oz Caramel Sauce, divided
● 3.4 oz Caramel Flavored Instant Pudding
● 1½ cups cold milk
● ½ cup Green Apple Vodka, chilled
● 8 oz tub Imitation Whipped Topping (Cool Whip)
● 2 fresh Appples, for garnish
Caramel Apple Pudding Shots Mise en Place:
● 12 (2.5 oz) plastic pudding shot cups with lids if transporting
● Measuring Spoons
● Measuring Cup
● Bowl
● Spatula
● Whisk
● Cutting Board
● Knife
Caramel Apple Pudding Shots Directions:
● Place 12 pudding shot cups on a large baking sheet.
● Add 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce to the bottom of each pudding cup. Set aside.
● Pour the caramel flavored pudding mix into a medium (or large) mixing bowl.
● Add 1½ cups cup of cold milk and whisk until smooth and creamy.
● Add the ½ cup chilled Green Apple Vodka; stir well to incorporate.
● By hand, fold in 8 ounces of Cool Whip into the caramel pudding mixture, and continue to fold until the ingredients are well mixed, and the caramel pudding is light and fluffy.
● Transfer the caramel pudding mixture to the pudding cups and fill almost to the top. Leave a little room for additional caramel sauce and an apple slice. ● Chill for 1 hour. If you are not serving right away, you can chill overnight with the lids on.
● Before serving, add a few pieces of chopped fresh apple to each caramel apple pudding cup and drizzle caramel sauce on top.

Hello! I made these pudding shots but they were not thick like pudding more creamy I followed the directions what I did I do wrong?

How long do these keep when refrigerated? Am I able to freeze?

Brittany, these can keep for a while, but I don’t like to let them hang around for more than 72 hours. As far as freezing? I know some people like to freeze jello pudding shots, but I do not recommend it.
