These are as easy to make as crispy rice treats, but using Cheerios! No wonder kids love ’em!
Pumpkin Spice Cheerios Treats Recipe Notes:
● If you do not have pumpkin spice cheerios and have regular cheerios, try adding some pumpkin spice er, spice to the marshmallows.
● If you do not have bagged chocolate chunks, substitute chocolate chips. It has a different look, but if you cluster them, it will take the same.
● You can up the chocolate to ½ a cup if you like.
● To set these up denser, use a greased potato masher to press the treats down firmly.
Pumpkin Spice Cheerios Treats Recipe Ingredients:
● 10oz Miniature Marshmallows
● 3 TBSP Butter, softened
● 6 cups Pumpkin Spice Cheerios
● ¼ cup Chocolate Chunks
Pumpkin Spice Cheerios Treats Mise en Place:
● 9″x13″ Baking Pan
● Non-stick Cooking Spray
● Measuring Cup
● Large, Microwave Safe Bowl
● Long Metal Spoon
Pumpkin Spice Cheerios Treats Recipe Directions:
1. Spray a 13″x9″ baking pan with a nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
2. In a large microwave-safe mixing bowl, heat 10 ounces of miniature marshmallows and three tablespoons of softened butter for about 1-2 minutes or until the marshmallows are super soft.
3. Stir the marshmallows and butter until combined.
4. Mix in six cups of pumpkin spice Cheerios into the marshmallow mixture with a long metal spoon.
5. Scoop the Cheerio mixture into the prepared 13″x9″ baking pan, sprinkle the chocolate chunks on top and press down firmly.
