Independence Day is Thursday, July 4, 2024, in the United States, and as part of our national celebrations, fireworks displays are happening in many communities across the United States! If you are looking for fireworks displays in Buffalo, NY, Niagara Falls, NY, or in the Western New York area, here is the complete list, including dates and times.

It is that time again! Time for Independence Day fireworks displays in Western New York! Here is a list of fireworks displays in Erie County, Niagara County, and Western New York for 2024.

After a lot of emails, phone calls, and website searching, this list is what I came up with. This post will be constantly updated until Independence Day 2024. If you have any updated information, please be sure to share it in the comments or emailing me if you have any information about WNY fireworks displays that I may have missed.

Please note that some of the 2024 Independence Day Fireworks Displays actually take place on dates other than the 4th of July. This year, they run from July 1- July 7th. I have linked to the town (and city) websites and Facebook pages so you can check out the source of the information yourself. I cannot be responsible for any municipalities that change their minds or change dates and times. And I am definitely not responsible for the weather. Some of the towns and cities have listed raindates; some have not. Give a call to your local city hall or town council in advance of the 4th if you are worried about rain.

Information on the Hartland, NY, Middleport, NY, Royalton, NY and Gasport, NY Fireworks Display 2024
Somerset Town Park is the latest venue for the fireworks show that’s been put on every July 4 in Royalton or Hartland for years, and the show will instead be held July 27 in conjunction with the Barker Corn Festival. They are hoping to return to Hartland next year.

Join us for an even bigger fireworks display over the lake to celebrate the Independence Day Holiday and our Town’s Bicentennial! Boats sail and motor on the lake while fireworks burst into colors overhead. Fireworks are shot off the east pier and are best viewed from the Lake Ontario shoreline Krull Park. Free admission. 50th Anniversary Celebration, so the largest fireworks display they have organized.
The Lyndonville Lions Club invites you to participate in their Independence Day celebration! The event, one of the largest 4th of July events in Western New York, includes a multimedia craft show that draws in artists from Buffalo and Rochester areas and attracts over 5,000 people. Situated in a scenic and easy to get to the location, the festivities also include a parade at noon, bounce houses, the Lions Club Chicken Bar-B-Que, and fireworks at 10:00 pm.
