Do you have a pinterest account? Do you pin? Do you repin?
I am ambivalent about pinterest myself. I finally made a Ann’s Entitled Life account on pinterest about four months ago. I held back because of the legendary pinterest copyright concerns. Those concerns haven’t really gone away, but I try and only repin actual blogger’s work where pinterest pinning is welcome. I deduce that from the “pin it” hover on a picture, or from the pinterest icon on the post or blog.
Why did I join pinterest? Well, to be honest, one day I was checking where the Ann’s Entitled Life’s blog traffic was coming from, and pinterest was the third largest source of traffic – and I didn’t have a pinterest account. Oy. I figured I should get on the social media platform my reader’s liked. And this worked out well for me since it wasn’t facebook.
So now I spend at least an hour a day pinning stuff, reading articles to pin, and thinking of new boards that will suit my personality and make my followers happy. The latest board is called All Things Peeps! Does it really surprise anyone here that I would have a Peeps board?
Do you enjoy looking at the purdy pictures on pinterest? Do you pin? Tell me what you think of pinterest!

I don’t have one. My daughter tells me I would like it, but so far I have not done it.

My parents are coming down for a week at the end of the month, and I am going to teach my mother. She’s a crafter, a knitter, crochets, bakes, etc. She may be out of the normal age range, but I think she’ll love it!

I think my aunts are probably your mothers age or maybe older even & they like Pinterest..
I LOVE it.. but after the first week or two I had to retrain myself to not spend my life on there.. sigh.. I pin.. I pin just about every day.. but its usually from blogs or websites that I run across myself as opposed to watching & scrolling thru the Pinterest board, most of the time. Every once in a while though, I do get lost on it.. 🙂
I have a bazillion boards.. I keep saying Im going to combine some of them but it hasnt happened yet. 😉

LOL And everyone I talk to tells me to expand my boards to even smaller niches, Kim. I think your bazillion boards may be a good thing as far as avid pinners are concerned.

I guess so.. Funny thing is.. I actually remember where I put all my pins… and I even remember WHAT I pin.. at least most of the time. 😉 I’ve pinned a few of your posts too.. Course, dontcha know, I dont remember what they were.. haha.. but I know I pinned em. 😛

Because I only have 50 boards, and 28 of those are OTHER people’s group boards, I can keep track on my own. I need a scheduler for those other 28 boards … man it gets rough keeping track on those boards.

I dont even try to keep track of it.. its pure whimsy for me.. I have enough stuff to keep track of.. lol.
