My husband has been a big part of my blogging posts since I first tapped letters on my keyboard for the screen. He does nearly all the cooking (but not the baking) recipes on Ann’s Entitled Life (and on Coupons, Deals and More before this), has a series named after him, and not only aids and abets my crazy blogging-ideas, but encourages them and comes up with many of his own crazy ideas that make it to the blog!
So today when I needed a yappy post idea, he failed me. Not only didn’t he do or say anything post-worthy this past week, he didn’t even have any yappy post ideas!!

For six years now people have asked me how I can blog about day-to-day living without small children. Small children are the ace up the blogger’s sleeve! Think about all the cute, precocious, stupid, interesting and funny things your kids have done over the years. Enough to fill a book or two, right? Never mind a few blog posts. Children are the bread and butter of a yappy-post on a lifestyle/content blog.
My response has always been, “Who needs a five year old!? I have Hubby!!” And we all know what that means.
And until this week, he was good for either material, or inspiration, and sometimes both at the same time. Hubby let me down today: he hasn’t done anything stupid this week (he told me to think harder as he was sure he’d done something dumb). He hadn’t said anything cringe-worthy. And he also didn’t give me a blog post idea (ok, Monday’s post was his idea, but it was a #fail, so that doesn’t count).
What is my world coming to when I can’t count on my Hubby?
😀
I hope your week is going well and that the country has turned the corner on the cruddy winter weather. It was heating up down in St. Augustine, and then that came to a screeching halt on Tuesday. Looks like it should warm up to the 70s again this weekend though. Max will love it, he likes his walks and I refuse to take him out for a long one in the rain. Mostly because I’m a wimp.

Don’t worry, I am sure it is just a temporary glitch 🙂

Feel free to message me anytime you run out of ideas or stories… Between my aging mom, technology repellant dad, Type A personality hubby, kids, grandkids, pet goats, chickens, dog or the barn owls, we can find you something to work with 🙂 And honestly, I don’t have time to post on my own blog, so we can just change up the names, and you can call it your own 😉
Ann says
ROTF! Be careful, I may take you up on that Tami!

Hey! You don’t need small children for cute and adorable…
…..you have something better: A small, cute and adorable DOG. 🙂
