We don’t get many trick or treaters where we live. When the weather is fabulous we will get maybe 40 or so. Ten trick or treaters or less is the norm for our house though. The distance between houses is pretty far to walk. Consequently, we hand out full size candy bars if I don’t have something in my stockpile, just to reward the kids that put in the effort. Since it is raining today, I am not even sure I expect the 10. Hubby will be thrilled! This is what he bought at Walgreens a few days ago for Trick or Treaters:
He bought the Tums to roll Register Rewards and pay less out of pocket, but looking at all that candy, I think he’s going to actually need them!
Zillow recently listed the top 20 places to trick or treat. Buffalo came in #17 on the list. I can assure you it is true. When I lived in Buffalo we had 50 houses on the street where we resided, and 45 of them gave out on Halloween. We used to have carloads of kids dumped from the suburbs into our city neighborhood!! Back then I was extremely glad I couponed and used to give out all sorts of items I got for free or cheap as hundreds of kids came through that night, each looking for a treat.
So tell me, What Are You Handing Out To Trick or Treaters tonight?

We get no trick or treaters. Not one since we moved to the woods 18 years ago. I did enjoy it when we lived in the city though.

I want the full size candy bars at your house!
We get some trick or treaters. I bought snack size Butterfingers. Why Butterfingers? I don’t like them & have actually managed to stay completely away from them. That’s gotta be a first.
