Autumn Leaf Napkin Holder: Dollar Store Craft
I love autumn! It is far and away my favorite season. The colors are stupendous when the leaves change. I enjoy the warm days and cool nights. It has always been my favorite season of the year. If you enjoy fall, you probably like decorating for the season as much as I do!

Tips for making this Autumn Leaf Napkin Holder:
● A glue gun is used. If you prefer to use goop, you can. Just realize that the dry-time is going to be significantly longer.
● You do not have to use acorns, foliage, or a napkin holder from the dollar store. You can get these products at any craft store.
● If for some reason your fall foliage is not adhering with the hot glue, scuff up the napkin holder a bit with some rough sandpaper, wipe away any abraded material that may come loose.
● You can use any color scheme you like, just keep in mind that fall colors are red, yellow, orange, green, purple, and brown.
● Remember to size the flowers you buy to the naplin holder. You do not want giant flowers for this craft.
● This craft uses faux leaves, flower heads, and acrons. You could do this only in leaves (layering would be a different look) or only flowers. You probably could do only acorns, but I am not certain how attractive that would be.

Autumn Leaf Napkin Holder Directions:
1. Remove the sticker from the napkin holder. Do not worry if it does not come off all the way. It will be covered.
2. Remove the leaves, flowers, and acorns from any bushes or stems you may have purchased.
3. Starting on one side of the napkin holder, carefully add a little hot glue to the napkin holder.
4. While the glue is still hot, attach the leaves while varying color and shape, until fully covered. Have the leaves hang a bit over edges. There will be some empty spots which you can cover these with flowers and acorns.
5. Snip off a little bit of the stem that sticks out from the detached flower. This makes it a bit flatter and easier to glue. Do not get too close or the flower will fall apart.
6. Randomly hot glue the flower heads to the napkin holder focusing on any empty spots between leaves.
7. Randomly hot glue acorns in between flowers. Be certain to cover all the “holes” on the napkin holder that were not previously covered by leaves or flower heads.
8. Repeat on the other side of the napkin holder.
9. Look over your napkin holder for an outstanding “holes” in the fall foliage. Cover with an acorn or flower if you find any.
