Tips and variations for making this DIY Gnome Football Pin:
● This is made with a generic football shape for the hat. If you have a favorite team you love and support (#GoBills!), make the hat team colors or a small logo and paint it with puffy paint. A great idea that is taken to the next level!
● This is also a great way to show school spirit for your high school or college team. Again, add the logo if you like.
● You can use mod podge or other fabric glue if you do not have a hot glue gun, just realize that you will have to hold pieces in place until they dry, and those pieces will take a lot longer to dry.
● Move the goalposts and make this adorable pin – the perfect addition to wear to a Super Bowl party, a big game party, or a tailgating event.
● These gnome football pins can be used as party favors or football party decorations (on the buffet table or as party favors) where the person can take them home afterward.
● Materials for this football gnome pin can be purchased online or at your local JoAnn, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby.

DIY Football Gnome Pin Craft Supplies Needed:
● 1 Wine Cork
● 1 Small Wooden Bead (used 5/8″ aka 16mm)
● Hat Template
● 1 Hot Glue Stick
● Brown Felt
● 1 Locking Pin Bar
● White Yarn (or fake fur)
● White Puffy Paint
DIY Football Gnome Pin Tools Needed:
● Scissors
● Hot Glue Gun
DIY Football Gnome Pin Directions:
1. Lay the hat template onto the brown felt and cut around it.
2. With the felt lying flat, using white puffy paint, make a line down the center, stopping a little before each end. Then add two lines across that one so that it looks like stitches. Set aside and allow to dry.
3. Cut 6 pieces of yarn that are about 2 inches long.
4. At about the middle of the cork, glue the pieces of yarn in place so they hang down below the end of the cork. I glued one extra piece in the middle of the front where the nose will go.
5. Carefully untwist the yarn to look more like hair.
6. Glue the wood bead in place just below the start of the yarn. The top of the bead should be lined up with the start of the yarn.
7. When the paint is dry, line the felt ends together and glue it in place to make the gnome hat. They should overlap slightly.
8. Glue the hat to center the lines over the bead/nose.
9. Glue the pin in place to the side without the nose.
10. Wear or display as desired.

How cute! I think gnomes are so adorable. We have one on our back porch to greet us when we come home. There is just something about them to me that says home.
