Bring a little bit of the cold inside this winter and make your own Snowman spoon with these easy step by step instructions! This adorable little “snowman” is a fun and decorative craft nearly anyone can make.
Wooden Spoon Craft: Snowman Spoon Puppet
These would be great for a kid’s puppet show (obviously) or to stick in floral foam as part of a centerpiece. If you have indoor herbs and spices growing, these would also be adorable to plop in the pot for winter decor! I’ve started to make my foyer snowman/snowflake decor instead of Christmas. That way, I can leave it up until Valentine’s Day or Easter (depending on how ambitious I am feeling).
You could also tie a candy around the stem, then cover with the ribbon, and use these as a cute little take home Christmas brunch or dinner favor. Add a name to that candy and it becomes a name card for your holiday dinner table!

Wooden Spoon Craft: Snowman Spoon Puppet Instructions:
● Cover your work surface in case of spills. You can use a disposable tablecloth, cardboard, newspaper, etc. If your children are doing this craft, you really want that work surface covered!
● Paint the entire surface of the wooden spoon with white craft paint.
● Once the paint has dried, using hot glue, attach two winter-themed craft gems to the front of the top of the spoon where you would like your snowman’s eyes to be. We used snowflake shaped craft gems, but you can use any shape or color that you like, you can even swap out the gems for googly eyes.

● Attach the red craft foam band onto the black hat with glue.
