● Wooden Cooking Spoon
● Paint Palette or Paper Plate or Other Small Paint Container
● Brown Paint
● Paintbrush
● Orange Felt
● Googly Eyes
● Red Craft Foam
● Fall Colored Feathers
● Fall Colored Ribbon
● Glue Gun (low temp)
● Hot Glue

Wooden Spoon Craft: Turkey Spoon Puppet Directions:
● Cover your work surface in case of spills. You can use a disposable tablecloth, cardboard, newspaper, etc. If your children are doing this craft, you really want that work surface covered!
● Use brown craft paint to paint all sides of a wooden cooking spoon.
● Once the brown paint has dried, cut out a triangle shape from a piece of orange felt.
● Glue the orange triangle to the center of the top face of the wooden spoon. This will be your turkey’s beak.
● Attach two googly eyes to the front of the face of the spoon above the beak.
● Cut out an “s” shaped wattle from the red craft foam.
● Use the hot glue gun to attach the red wattle to the front of the spoon face just on the side of the beak.
● Glue several fall colored feathers to the back of the top of the spoon for the turkey’s tail.
● Tie a fall colored ribbon around the bottom of the head of the spoon.
