Would you let your husband leave the house looking like this?
Every time I see him with the pants full of paint and the suspenders, I shake my head. Even Max doesn’t want to see it!
I am telling you, 10 years ago this man shaved, wore expensive suits, beautiful shoes and cut his hair more than three times a year. No one would believe it now. Definitely a fashion Don’t.
The “best” part? He thinks he’s cute and funny.
So, would you let your husband leave the house looking like this?

Mine is still wearing the monogrammed shirts and fashionable suits. Still has the NEED to dress like he’s worth that fat paycheck. (Just got a really great job-Funny: on Friday UPS delivered some luggage they sent for customer appreciation week. Luggage? Yeah, really Nice luggage. LOL)

Just as a note: I wouldn’t be WITH him on the street dressed like that. He’s be w/ that dog and that’s about it. 🙂

ROFL.. thats awesome! Hey, hes a workin man now.. not that he wasnt before.. I know more men who are financially worth bucket-loads that you would never know they were by the way they dressed..
I’d just accept it & move on.. Of course, unless he’s trying to get YOU to go out with him looking like that.. 😉 Then I might put my foot down.. maybe. 😉

I would let him leave the house that way, but if he was in that attire it would mean he is going to a buddys house on their days off or going to the cabin to do work outside and I wouldn’t be going along anyways.

Well not with that tape over his eyes for sure lol! My hubby is a contractor and he dresses like it. He also has long hair and now has a beard (which I hate) most of the time. I do buy his clothes so if that were my hubby he would have jeans that fit him and no suspenders. The shirt would be fine though. You can tell your hubby he is half right – he is funny 🙂

Since my husband is a union carpenter, he almost looks like that everyday. Except now they make them wear these high visibility shirts that are a neon color that actually hurts my eyes…. But he does dress up for church so I can deal with that….
My question is this…..what would they do if the shoe was on the other foot? What if I wore no bra, didn’t shave my arm pits or legs or remove all the hair that grows on my upper lip now days. Would they go anywhere with us if we just stopped giving a crap???? That is my question.

No — but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t try! He doesn’t wear t-shirts so it would be a pinstriped button down with an oil stain with the paint splattered pants.

That is SO funny you should say that.
MINE went out to walk the dog the other day dressed EXACTLY like that WITH a hat on. I swear he looked like a 1950’s Archaeologist on a dig for ancient artifacts in Egypt.

WOW! No, my husband would not be allowed to leave the house like that, but I’m just surprised that your hubby would WANT to look like that! Granted, I’ve only met him once, but he in no way struck me as someone who would “dress down” so far, LOL! Even your dog looks too cute to be seen with him! 🙂

Mine walks out the door looking like a million bucks 5 days a week. Saturday & Sunday ~ looks much like yours. My Dad was the exact same way. What is that?
