DIY Boo Pallet Project Materials:
● Wood Pallet Board (this one measures 3.5″ x 14″)
● 4″ Wood Letters B O O
● Black Acrylic Craft Paint
● Orange Acrylic Craft Paint (Used on this project: Folk Art Vivid Orange 2904E)
● Paint Brush
● Glue Gun
● Glue Sticks
● Sanding Block (if necessary)
DIY Boo Pallet Project Directions:
● Use a sanding block to remove any rough edges on your pallet wood.
● Using black acrylic paint, paint the front of the pallet board.
● Let dry.
● Using orange paint, paint the letters, and the edges of the pallet board.
● Let dry.
Tip: Place paint material on wax paper to protect your surface and peel materials off easily, rather than newspaper that can stick to the pieces (it happens, see my glitter shoes!)
● Using the cap of the acrylic paint, or a small bottle cap, dab into orange paint
● Place circle shape onto the front of the black board to create a fun background.
● Let dry.
● Glue letters onto the pallet board with a hot glue gun and display for all to see – and for you to enjoy!
● This is a super easy project! If you are using it as door decor, make sure you add your door hanger before painting. Your life will be easier.
