Blue Mermaid Cocktail Recipe
This mermaid drink recipe is potent! Lots of booze that goes down easy. Be aware of that when you are partaking of this adult beverage.
This Tropical Rum Punch Recipe is delicious, cool and refreshing. The rum punch combines the flavors of rum, brandy, and fruit juice into a fabulous tropical drink!
● I gave directions to grind up the Graham crackers with a mini food processor, but you can always just purchase the Graham Cracker Crumbs (in the baking aisle – they are already ground). I must admit that I do not use Graham crackers often enough to not buy the pre-ground ones. I usually have a container of Graham cracker crumbs in the pantry, and one in the freezer.
Blue Mermaid Cocktail Ingredients:
● ¼ cup ground Graham Crackers (for rimming)
● 1 oz Malibu Rum
● 1 oz Blue Curaçao
● 1 oz Blue UV Vodka
● 1/3 cup Pineapple Juice
● 1 Maraschino Cherry
● 2 pieces fresh Pineapple
Blue Mermaid Cocktail Mise en Place:
● Mini Food Processor
● 1 Umbrella (for garnish)
● Jigger
● Cocktail Mixing Glass
● Cocktail Spoon
Blue Mermaid Cocktail Directions:
● Wet rim of a short cocktail glass with rum.
● Grind Graham crackers in food processor or blender.
● Place ground Graham crackers on a dish and roll wet rim in Graham crackers.
● Add ice to the rimmed cocktail glass.
● Pour in Malibu Rum, Blue Curaçao, Blue UV Vodka, and pineapple juice.
● Stir lightly to combine.
● Give a small stir.
● Add two slices of pineapple to the side of the glass, one maraschino cherry and a cocktail umbrella for garnish to complete the tropical look.
● Serve it up on top of a tray strewn with extra ground Graham crackers for a sandy beach tray!
