This easy 3-ingredient fudge is perfect for Halloween with its creepy vibe. Rich and delicious, the flavor of this Halloween fudge is fabulous. This simple fudge recipe is the perfect sweet treat for Halloween parties and get-togethers.
A homemade fudge recipe is easy to make these days. Usually, they can be made with simple ingredients, a microwave, and no candy thermometer; there are a lot of 5-minute fudge recipes because of this. This is a microwave fudge recipe. This is a pretty easy recipe as all the “spooky” is in the swirls. the process shown is merely poured colored, melted chocolate mixture, but you can run a knife through the fudge to create any type of swirl pattern you like.
Vampire Fudge Recipe
Busy moms and dads or indulgent grandmas and grandpas will love this terrific Halloween treat. It is so simple to make that the kiddos can help (older children can do it themselves) make this easy Halloween fudge. Little things add a festive touch to a holiday and this delicious recipe is creepy enough, yet not scary, for even the littles ghouls and goblins. Happy Halloween!
Tips and variations for making this vampire fudge recipe:
● This recipe uses cream cheese frosting, but you can substitute vanilla frosting.
● Be careful to not add too much of the frosting to one color, really try to distribute it 50-50. Too much frosting in one color can cause the fudge to not set properly.
● The fudge will turn out a really dark charcoal grey. If you want it to be a rich black, you can try adding a black icing dye that is oil-based to get it darker. You have to be careful and not use water-based dyes or food coloring which are normally the only option you find in the baking aisle of your grocery store. They cause the chocolate to seize, ruining the fudge. Buy oil-based icing dye here.
● If you want a harder fudge, simply add a bit more candy melts to each color.
if your local grocery store does not carry candy melts, you can find them at your local craft store such as Joann, Michaels.
● If you plan on making 36 servings, that is cutting 6 rows x 6 rows. If you plan on making 25 servings, that is cutting 5 rows by 5 rows.
● For easy fudge removal, place one sheet of parchment paper across the pan. Place the second sheet of parchment paper across the first sheet (to form an +).
● It is best if the rest of the ingredients are not altered as they specifically complement or counteract each other in the perfect manner. I would not be able to offer any other suggestions as substitutions that would work in the same manner.
● Fudge can be stored in the fridge or freezer in an airtight container. It will last up to two weeks in either situation. Fudge should never be stored at room temperature due to its ingredients.

2. Place the black candy melts in a small microwave-safe bowl and place the red in a separate bowl.
3. One at a time, heat each bowl for 2 minutes in the microwave on high, stopping every 30 seconds to stir and adjust the candy melts so they don’t burn or overcook.
4. Once the chocolate is nice and creamy for both bowls, remove the plastic lid and inside foil from the frosting and place it in the microwave for 45 seconds straight without stopping.
